1958 Buick Limited Riviera coupe
The odometer shows the true mileage on this B-58 Limited: 25,808 ORIGINAL pampered miles.

Also shown is the shift quadrant for the Pitch Dynaflow automatic transmission. New for 1958, Flight Pitch was a triple-turbine design that offered completely seamless transmission operation. Totally smooth, no stepped shifts like other transmission. Buick's advertising claimed you can "shift the pitch a million ways" with Flight Pitch. Wow, sounds impressive! The Flight Pitch in this car operates flawlessly with nary a drip. The "G" position is for "grade retard" to be used only without accelerator pressure on downgrades. There is no low gear with Flight Pitch, which was an optional transmission on all 1958 Buicks except the flagship Limited where it was standard equipment.
