| ABC was a latecomer to color broadcasting, but this now familiar logo has been the network's symbol for over 40 years! ABC began very limited colorcasting in 1961 and created this animated introduction for their color broadcasts. Initially, only an instumental version was shown, but as the network expanded their colorcasting schedule the soundtrack was changed with new music and an announcer. |
