1958 Buick Limited Riviera coupe
I labored countless hours on this show-winning, authentically restored and detailed engine compartment. Visible in this photo is the correct and properly functioning Frigidaire factory air conditioning system. Note the dual mufflers attached to the side of the compressor, designed to silence pulsation noise common to early automotive a/c compressors. This Limited has the heavy-duty generator which was equipped with a large flexible duct that provided cooling air. The flexible duct is visible just inside the inner fender underneath the air conditioning hoses.
