This photo shows the original underhood fasteners which were restored and reinstalled in their original positions. I devised an cataloging system that allowed me to remove and reinstall the underhood fasteners in their original positions. Whew, that was a chore! I haven't seen bolts with these captive square lock washers in use on any other car, so restoring the originals for a prisitine authentic engine compartment was a must. When this car has been entered in competition, it has consistently been awarded maximum points for the engine compartment.
